Sharon and I landed in Dublin on Nov 1st and flew back Nov 13th. These photos capture just some of the many amazing places across Ireland we had time to visit.
Found the area where our Molly did a semester abroad.
Scored some sweet scones at the Cafe at Kilkenny Shops.
Last full meal in Ireland at Kennedy's Pub near our hotel. Got two free Irish coffees as the bartender mixed them "wrong" and offered them to us. Tasted just fine!
Lamb burgers!
One for the road!
Our hotel in Dublin used to be a church!
Our trusty Peugeot got us around at over 60 mpg!
Our last snack on Aer Lingus had a "warning label."
Beware the "Economy Chicken!"
So, turns out I had ruptured (detached) the quadricep tendons in my right knee and had to have surgery right away upon our return.
And so ends a glorious and challenging two weeks in Ireland where my "luck" didn't hold out the whole time. Home now hoping my post-surgery knee will stop hurting soon!
